Employment History/Professional Experience

In my more than 20 years' research and teaching career I have been working on the areas of computer architecture, telecommunication and computer networks and accumulated rich experiences. I have published more than 150 English papers in international journals and conferences/workshops, and more than 50 additional Chinese papers in Chinese journals/magazines/conferences. My series papers about the TCAM-based distributed searching technologies have been cited 125 times by other researchers. I have held 18 patents, along with 5 patents pending. I have been a PI/PD or co-PI for research projects with funding of more than 54 million Chinese Yuan (roughly $7.5 million US dollars) in total. Several of my technology innovations have been transferred to industry and commercialized, which leads to great economic and social impact. My strength lies in the tight combination between theoretical research and application development..
